~$ cat /proc/asound/version
Advanced Linux Sound Architecture Driver Version 1.0.16.
The sound works in all the others programs

Please look for psclient.cfg in your PlaneShift main directory and find the line
Code: [Select]
System.Plugins.iSndSysRenderer = crystalspace.sndsys.renderer.openal
replace openal at the end with the word software
