Title: i can't even install the game!

because i get an error after clicking on the install icon:

system specs?

where did you download the installer from?

how big is the file?

amd sempron 3200+ @ 1.8ghz
1.5GB of ram
500GB HD
nvidia geforce 6600GT gfx
windows XP (sp2)

i downloaded the file from the internode mirror (games.on.net)

files size is 350mb

it's possible that your downloaded copy got corrupted in transit.

I suggest trying to redownload the client from one of the other mirrors to start with.  if that doesn't fix it, it sounds like something is messed up OS side of things.
