Magnificent graphics. The sad thing about all these types of projects is that they take so long to develop that they are fairly obsolete by the time they are in a "finished" state.
In a way though there has been very little new in gaming for a long time now. The only real advances have been to add eye candy as gpu capabilities have grown.

Eye candy, and in some cases, AI. Not necessarily AI breakthroughs, perhaps simply optimizations based on human behaviour.
