I installed the game first off, tried to enter, and said server failed. I then opened the proper port(7777) and tried again, and still, server failed. I uninstalled to retry, and now i cannot even start the installer(at first my firewall was giving instant and constant popups for 20 min before I gave up trying to 'let' the installer though, and shut down the firewall entirely)
Now the installer won't even open. It pops up in task manager for about 1/10th of a second and goes away again.
Can't find anything similar to this in the forums(except the port 7777 thing) and thought you would like to see what the issue is(I redownloaded it multiple times, and it doesn't matter what mirror i use, the files are identical)

How did you uninstall it? Is it still present in <conrol thingy> -> Add/Remove Programs that windows provides? (Sorry, I don't have an english windows here and anyway don't know yet if it's vista or xp..)
If you manage to install again, try to use the updater first; then two server should show up; there's always the chance that one is not reachable for some minutes, though only rarely now.

Yes is it vista?
Also, try putting the word -repair after the target line in the updater. Under properties.
