Title: no chat log for windows vista?

i have installed it in the documents folder and i'm not running it in administrator (if that changes anything)

There's isn't 'one' what? The folder isn't there, or the chatlog isn't there?

AppData is hidden.  Go into your user folder, and then in the tools drop-down menu choose folder options, and then click on the view tab.  From there you should be able to choose to show hidden files and folders.  After that you should be able to find Appdata, and then inside that Roaming, and then Planeshift, and Logs.
