Title: I can't attack anything....

I went into the sewer to try and kill some rats and get some trias.
So i go down but when I try to attack it it says.
"Rat is Impervious to attack."
in red text over the rat.
The same thing happened in the tutorial....
Can someone please tell me whats going on and how I can fix it?

The NPC-client, the program that controls the actions of monsters, is obviously down at the moment. You have to wait until it is restarted (and/or fixed) until you can attack anything. But there are a lot of other things one can do in PlaneShift. Try some quests or crafting. And I heard the NPC client is hardly needed for some nice roleplaying with other characters too.

Oh...and have a look at the Known fixes to common issues (http://www.hydlaaplaza.com/smf/index.php?topic=21503.0)...the impervious message is explained there too.
