Yes sir, you read right. It's monopoly. Online. With Google Maps as the gameboard.
-
WIN ;D
-
So is anyone actually playing this horrible thing? I tried it on launch day and it lagged considerably.
EDIT: Looks like they're doing a pwipe on the 17th (tomorrow).
-
I didn't even bother opening day. They serverly undercompensated server-wise. I'm sure they'll fix stuff up, then I'll play.
-
This might actually be funny. We should totally grief this game over the weekend when the server returns.

Sorry but I find that unacceptable, "do unto others as you wish to be done by" and we don't want griefers here
-
I tried to aces the site opening day, but it wouldn't ever load. /shrug
-
I agree Tuxide. There's so many ways to offend people when you're able to buy ANYWHERE.

That's fine, I don't have to explain on this thread how to grief in Monopoly. But thinking that way will only catch people off-guard. People grief because the devs made the game griefable. This is why I made <Banker> (http://www.hydlaaplaza.com/smf/index.php?topic=34612.0).
-
Any and every system is vulnerable to grief. People grief. Period.
-
Well, it looks like the wipe is over and the game has returned.
-
The game looks like a Bloods vs Crips territory fight. I'm currently battling for my hood and have some outposts set up to protect it. I already got 2 sabotage cards but the list of opponents wasn't working so I couldn't sabotage the crips on the next street...

Scarn -
That's ... odd. Not quite the Monopoly that I remember...

Check it out. It's a 2 sec registaration so it's really quick to get to test it out. It has good potential.

apprearently dean of real life comics (http://reallifecomics.com) has tried it. but he says it's only going to be around till the top of the year.
/me wonders if it is available at work

It's Monopoly. The game is supposed to last forever but come to a conclusion sometime. I think it's supposed to end on January 30.
In as Tuxide; I just tore down one of my neighbor's houses and built a stadium where it used to be.
SPOILER: The "bulldozer" is shaped like a giant wrecking ball.

While messing around with this, I couldn't help but find it absolutely amazing how these developers were able to move the entire state of Nebraska to New England.

Oh well, comes to show how Google Maps is no real substitute for taking a geography class. For those who tend to the game and really don't know where Nebraska is, I'm including this handy reference.

What's a Nee-Brass-Kuh? Sounds exotic.
-
Is there a world monopoly? i always wanted to buy Haiti
-
Of course, it's called Risk and it comes with the rest of Central America.
-
...and now it's dead. I guess the whole point of it was to promote their stupid new game format to all the robots that played it.
