Overview:
When: Saturday, October 3, 2009 - 6PM GMT or 2PM ET
Where: Lake of Tears Outpost - Bronze Door Road2
Details:
The Explorers Guild continues it's monthly series of fairs, this time with the Cooking Fair. All those skilled in the culinary arts are welcome to display their creations and discuss the art of cooking. And everyone is invited to join in a celebration of food and cooking.
Activities will include a pie eating contest and a recipe contest. So start thinking of those interesting recipes and bring the ingredients to the fair so you can make it there. Credit will be given for creativity and use of a wide range of ingredients.
[OOC]
Cooking seems to be the hot skill in PS now, so this should be a lot of fun. I am hoping this event will put the cooking skill on full display and demonstrate what can really be done with it.

I am so bummed that I will be working that day and miss the fair >:(
-
We are looking for some cooks willing to demonstrate the creation of their favorite dish.
[This can be done via RP, with in game mechanics, or a combination of the two. PM Mordaan if interested.]
-
I'll try to make it. I've got a nice little collection of cooked stuff to show.
-
I'd love to come and have a look but have to work as well... :(
-
I bet Doctor Forita will be curious about recipes for some sweets... :D

The one time my favourite skill gets some recognition and I'm banned from playing PS[Gah,college internet policy :@#\]

X-/ We'll have it again someday. Maybe when the cooking skill gets expanded a bit.

I can't wait for more. I'm assuming a "ale fair" will be planned when brewing is implemented?
