Title: What is going on?
Post by: Tazzlest on November 27, 2009, 04:47:04 pm
Well I previously posted about an issue with both clients, the release and the beta. Now I am having a similar problem with both of them...none of the maps are loading correctly! It just shows black spots and it is irritating! I have no clue on how to fix this because if I try anything, nothing seems to work! Can somebody please help me out here?

Have you tried runinstalling into a different folder and running the newly installed copy ?
This would cause the application to run with a default configuration.  It eliminate the possibility that the
problem could be due to a configuration issue.

I had similar looking problem too. If you are on Linux and you are compiling your client, you need to have nVidia Toolkit installed (maybe you will need maybe recompile again). See compiling guide at https://planeshift.svn.sf.net/svnroot/planeshift/trunk/docs/compiling.html (https://planeshift.svn.sf.net/svnroot/planeshift/trunk/docs/compiling.html)
