Title: What's with all the single names in game the last few days?

Do my eyes deceive me? Have oldbies just decided to come back without fanfare? Doesn't matter I suppose, as long as I am seeing people in game all the better.

If you have been on EZ it is likely due to devs bringing their characters out of retirement for testing purposes, if on laanx then maybe due to the buzz generated by the new client. I've (bilbous) been hanging out some on EZ to help with the testing but I'm no dev. I have been largely absent from ps  otherwise recently

I know even two couples where one of them lost the family name due to the wedding, instead of giving it to the partner.

And GMs should know if the family name is now a requirement. If it was, they would have insisted. Because both should belong to the now rather famous characters on Laanx.

It's happening on laanx. The names aren't in my logs and I'm not familiar enough with them to just pull them off the top of my head. But so far there were at least 5 different people within a day or two.

they are just restarting the game after a while...i used to have 1 name but i wanted to fit in so i talked to a gm to change it....

Lol, wrong!  Phinehas (yes, I've made that typo b4) is an excellent RPer, (our mains did the meet n' greet recently btw)...he also was responsible for events and such back in the day.

Also, Phinehas has a last name now.
