Title: Questions
Post by: CarLBanks on May 08, 2003, 04:49:37 am
Is there anything else except opengl and safe mode? I\'m on direct3d.

I don\'t know what server to use since localhost does nothing.

Not at the moment.  I\'m sure at some point there will exist a Direct3D renderer for CrystalSpace ( as soon as somebody comes along and writes one :) )

The server that you should use is planeshift.fragnetics.com.  localhost is only used if you are running the server locally as well.

When I try logging in it takes a long time. It says intalizing world but does nothing. How long do I have to wait and since I created a character on localhost do I have to recreate or does it do it for all servers?

It take a long time too on my pc for \"Initializing World\" and the first time i thought that it had crashed because the window did\'nt respond, but after a few time the window reactive and the game launch.

For the exact time it take, i think it is base on your configuration pf your PC. I wait one minute (more or less) and i have an Athlon 850, GF2 GTS and an ADSL 512Kb connection.

Hope this will help you, the window isn\'t crashed, just wait for a little more :]
