Need to learn a bit image stuff. A bit too high res.

Stormy AC 0.5 Hydlaa. The azure sky looked like this for sometime in the pre-release, it's been fixed now, with the dark laanx statue, too:

Nice screenshots, folks! And that shot of the Plaza made out of many smaller shots remains cool Steuben :)

Try to resize your screenshots though, it's much nicer to look at screenshots directly than having to click links all the time.
If you use Windows an easy-to-use and lightweight program to edit images is http://paint.net/

The two-tone sky is a known bug, by the way, too bad no one's attempting to fix it. At least we have cool sky effects in the mean time ;)

I'm scared.

Also, I had a way cooler occurrence of that bug a bit earlier. I was in East Hydlaa, and it was very, very dark. No light from the skies, just artificial light. It had a slight purple tone. Unfortunately, I have no screenshot, as I wasn't aware then changing brightness correction fixes it.

I hope I'll get to see that bug more often :P

Had a little fun adapting Christmas tree traditions to PS with this RP and wanted to share a couple screenies.  :)

For RP, the tree represented a small ruqua tree to be decorated with things from nature, (used carrots, apples, flowers, gems), and the occasion was in honor of the goddess Xiosia who had made appearances around this time the previous 2 cycles. A second tree was set up inside the DOX guild house.

Sadly, Xiosia did not make a physical appearance at this time this cycle but still showed her presence with a proliferation of flowers blooming throughout the secret garden, thanks to Sarva I am told.  \\o//

And for whoever stole the tree and all it's decorations later that day, I only have this to say.... SCROOGE! May your stocking be full of coal!

Below is a screen shot from the highest ground found in my newly compiled PS Server. Just thought some folks may be interested in what to expect. There are a couple of other maps which are tunnel connected; of approximately the same size. Below is the spawning area.

A heartfelt thanks to all of the many developers who have worked to give the wonderful gift to the world!

Out of interest this was compiled under Red Hat's Fedora 13 on a dual Pentium(R) 4 with a 1G of RAM.

It surprised me that it was even possible to compile; let alone being pretty snappy, once compiled, with me an my other NPC dwarf brothers loaded.  ;D

Pterosaurs are still only decoration, although they have an "idle" animation. You can use them as inter-city transport system in game.

As character being morphed into a pterosaur, you don't have much freedom. The stance you see in this screenshot is rather a "default ragdoll pose".

Game Masters can morph characters into different races. That is a privilege to be used with care. And with more restrictions on the RP server...

That's looking from the map of East Hydlaa. The rest of the town is absent there, but big structures are still present, so you'll be able to see them in a distance... So if you approach the missing area, it looks like this :)

By the way those red world screenshots look pretty cool.  It would be awesome if red thing that happened to everyone and someone set up an RP about it, like some rogue mage/necromancer is sapping the power of the crystal to raise an undead army or something and it's turning the sky red.
