Exhausted by the events of the last few weeks, Mandrith walks out of Hydlaa to have a nice, relaxing walk. Little does he know that he is being followed.....

Mandrith decides to sit down by the Cutthroat's Bane and rest for a bit, and he begins to drift off into sleep. But before he can fall asleep, he hears footsteps, slowly getting closer to him. His eyes open to see a cloaked klyros standing close to him. He unsheathes his sabers, and prepares to fight. He asks the klyros "Who are you?", to which they reply, in a low, solemn voice: "Your worst nightmare." Mandrith, realizing who it is, looks shocked. He begins to say a name, but is stopped as a mace hits his skull, knocking him unconscious. His assailant begins to drag him away, into the hills.

The next day, Mandrith walks through the northern gate, smiling. "Now you will suffer, brother... For the pain you have caused me."
