Title: 5.0 Client trouble

Well.. ok, here goes:


First off, I'm on Vista.


So I delete everything PS off my computer and try to download the new 5.0 client off one of the USA mirrors.

It downloads and I install it.

I go into the menu, click play, and I get one of those error messages. So.. I hit repair, and it starts downloading a bunch of stuff, most, if not all art updates. It ends up finishing in about 20 minutes, so I hit Ok and then hit "Play" again. It took me to the old 4.03 client and said the server was down, I X'd out, tried to get in, an error message pops up 100% of the time.


So I reinstalled, and the exact same process happened again.

Any help?

try downloading the torrent, uninstalling planeshift then installing .5 again  :detective:
