When i try to connect to the server it says

There is an error in the database on your account. Please contact your PS Admin for help.

Ive been reading around a bit about this and the main cause for this error seems to be using a firwall while playing the game, but i am not using a firewall on any kind.

OS: Windows XP Professional
Processor: AMD 1 Gigahert
RAM: 256
Video Card: GForce 4
Video Card Memory: 64mb
PS Client Version: Latest one (just downloaded)
OpenGL or Safe Mode: Both

yep have read the news but my character was created after the date that was posted, i have made another char there today and the same problem presists.

It could be that your provider is running a firewall. You might want to check your provider does so.  ?(
Or maybe you are using a router (you\'re on a network) and the router has certain ports closed or uses a hardware-firewall.  ?(

BTW, even though you downloaded the latest version, you\'ll still have to run the updater, or /spawn will not work correctly.

Im on AOL and i dont thnk they run a firewall, im on dialup 56k if that heklps.

And nope im not on a network.

I can create the characters ok and all but it keeps giving me that erroe with the database thingy.

lol dose non of the mods have a solution? please can some1 gimme some help because i relly want to play this game and i have been sitting with this problem for like nearly 2 weeks =/
