Title: How do you properly update?
Post by: gurn1701 on January 26, 2010, 05:22:41 am
I am new to Ubuntu and have .5.1 installed. I see the update box come up on the screen for .5.1.1 but dont think thats how you update it. Do I use repair or do it in a terminal. If so whats the command to type in. Thanks for helping a Linux noob.

generally, you have pslaunch open, if yo have updates a box appears saying you do, you click yes, the update to go to .5.1.1 takes a while
