Title: failure to launch. libcurl?

i'm running linux mint 8, its basically ubuntu karmic koala.
i'm using fluxbox as a window manager.
here is the static verbose program output

I will create a backtrace & do some debugging.
I have libcurl 3. My video card is a integrated Intel. Am I missing anything else?

rpm -q curl
curl-7.19.6-3mdv2010.0

locate libcurl
/usr/lib/libcurl.so.4
/usr/lib/libcurl.so.4.1.1
/usr/lib64/libcurl.so.4
/usr/lib64/libcurl.so.4.1.1

looks like you have a very old version of curl but maybe I don't know what I am talking about.

i went to synaptic and got libcurl 4
i found:
/usr/lib/libcurl.so.4
/usr/lib/libcurl.so.4.1.1

but  i did not find:
/usr/lib64/libcurl.so.4
/usr/lib64/libcurl.so.4.1.1

game still giving same output

I have a 64bit operating system which is where those came from. If you are 32 it is probably normal not to have them

curl isn't what is crashing you that cg can't load program seems a worse issue.
