When at night,
I heard the time,
When hums fell hazen,
And dripped blue from a scroll.
Colder sirens
Weighed upon mountain fog,
And arched voices, softly
upon cloves.
So we sat,
Knee to our bosom,
Closing our eyes,
flickered.
