Title: Cant open menu on characters

...and items.

Since yesterday, fpr some obscure reason, a right click on target character (or anything) won't open the menu. I can't even target the characters (must do so via /target next NPC and so on), and open menu with /Targetcntext...
what has happened, and how is this solved?

Also, since yesterday I find myself always in 1st person view when I start, although I left the game in 3rd person view.

help appreciated.

You're the second person having such a problem.
Unfortunately, we couldn't reproduce it yet and 'some obscure reason' won't help a lot.
Anyway, have a look at bug 3972 (http://www.hydlaaplaza.com/flyspray/index.php?do=details&task_id=3972). Also, don't hesitate to put a comment there if you can think of something helpful or if you can recall if you did anything special before the problem appeared.

My son had the same problem a few days ago. Turned out he had the capslock key on. Turning that key off solved the problem for him. I don't know if it is similar here but if you experience this problem check if capslock is perhaps on.

it is not a Caps Lock problem,. I checked that... so far, it was like this all the time since. 1st person view, need to readjust angle, targets not targetable with right click.

what did I do... right before that... crash (and create another character).

It seems that the problem started for the orignal reporter of bug 3972 after a crash too.
Have you tried deleting the options folder and the planeshift.cfg file that are located in your %appdata%/planeshift folder?

Don't know if this is the same issue or not but for quite some time I have found that the training or buy/sell menu does
Not always show after right clicking the npc and clicking buy/sell or train.

For me what works is to his the 'p' key if the menu fails to show.
