Settings Trivia.
Ok, so here's a new Idea for a forum game.
The game works like this.
1. You post a trivia question related to PlaneShift settings.
2. The next player answers the question and posts a new question.
3. In the event that someone posts an incorrect answer simply answer the last question, correct them, and post a new question.
* If a disagreement arises then post any supporting facts to back up your argument.
* Be careful not to give out spoilers ( ie. Don't ask questions like "Which NPC trains skill X" or "Which quest gives you itemX" )
* Don't ask questions that require knowledge from secret, hidden, or unavailable books/resources
Example:
Question: How many branches of Laanx are there ?
Answer: 5
Question: How old may elves live to be ?
Answer: 200 cycles
Question ....
I'll start:
Question: How many Trias are in one Hexa ?
-
10
Which races can breathe underwater?
-
Answer: Nolthrir, Kran and Klyros
Question: What kind of fruit grows on the tree in the Secret Garden ?
-
Answer: Ruqua
Question: Who is buried under the Scar of Laanx?
-
Answer: Konroran - the first Kran (thank you, Giroum!)
Question: There is no vulcano in Yliakum (at least on the Dome) ... but what is this strange rock formation near Ojaveda called, and what does the path up there cross?
-
Shindrok`s crater and....argh! Fallen Rock bridge? Boulder Bridge? Can`t for the life of me remember it 100%. Am I right? Close?
-
Acceptable... the "Bridge of the Fallen".
-
Whats the next Question ? :D
-
Will come from Tadano.
-
Thanks!
Q: Trasok has a great forge, Harnquist has a great forge, Veja has a rather quiet forge...but who has a Great Forge?
-
Gardr? are there any other forges in the game?
-
I wonder if the Steel Market was meant ... writing "Great Forge" with capitals looks like a specific term.
-
Answer: Goreld's sign
:sweatdrop:
Question: What is the name of the body of water closest to the Explorer's Camp ?
-
Answer: Lake of Tears
Question: What's behind the Bronze Doors?
-
Answer: The Stone Labyrinths
Question: Onyx Dagger members wear a green and red amulet. Who makes these amulets for them ?
-
Answer: Sharven Xant-Areth
Question: How many mounts pterosaurs is a single family in Yliakum allowed to own?
-
A: One. No matter how rich they are.
Q: During what event did Dakkru first appear?
-
If I recall correctly dakkru first made herself know sometime afted loundris has settled into the death real - which according to him, worked fine before dakkru ever arrived. When dakkru appeard to him and oriven I believe a crystal eclipse was happening.
I'm going the say the crystal eclipse. ?
Correct me if I'm mistaken.
Question: which town was named after a glyph ?
-
Answer: Hydlaa - the most powerful glyph of Vodùl
Question: Is there a known origin of the Mossy Ruins near Gugrontid?
-
I rather meant if anyone knows of which former town the ruins are everything left after the ages.
No, there are no known facts yet which town there was before it turned into ruins. Rumours say it might be Ylon Dynari - but Nyshyn Klannarr can not yet confirm that.
-
/easy/ Question: How many seats are there in the iron temple?
12 pews and a total of 13 individual seats.
I`ve always wondered about the eight in the lower area...for the Octarchs? The five are clearly for the Diats of the five branches of Laanx.
Q: What is the name of the swamp on the Barn?
-
Too hard?
The swamp is on the Barn...try asking those who are close to the Barn.
-
I wonder where "the Barn" is ... suspected the Dark Wanderer, but that might be wrong.
-
The Barn is the area the Winch will access, level 2 in Yliakum
-
Since you didn't ask a question...What is an enkidukai's most common ailment?
-
Hold your rivnaks!
My question hasn`t been answered yet!
I`m still awaiting the name of the swamp on the Barn!
-
I have no clue, I even thought it was answered X.x
-
No fair ! Tadano knows the settings inside out :@#\
-
Tadano, is it the Jillians Swamps? (Forgive me if I made a mistake with the name.)
What is the name of the waterfalls that are not far from Sarpendil?
-
The Jillian Swamp, correct.
A: The Cups of Laanx are the waterfalls near the city of Sarpendil. They must extend a few levels down, as Poricet on the 3rd Level is also described as being close to them.
Q: What is the name of Ervin Fromaad`s sister?
-
(Why do you use a backquote instead of an apostroph?...)
At least Ervin does not know his own sister - asked directly; so someone else might. A case for the "Inconsistency Hunt"?
-
The scores so far :D
Bguy – 1
Rigwyn – 4
Tadano – 5
LigH – 3
Peeg – 1
Despaira – 1
Dermathil – 1
EDIT: After a year of using this PC I just found my apostrophy now...as shift+7! What’s it doing up there? The backquote ` is shift+@, in a far more commonly-used position. Tsk. Jpnz keyboard.
EDIT2: Ervin might not mention his sister directly, but her name can be discovered.
-
A: Ervin's sister is named Mirlene.
Q: What is the name of Ervin and Mirlene's father? ;)
-
Jogar Fromaad
What was the reputed relationship between kran and ulbernauts.
Oh wait that was my crackpot theory not settings lore.
-
No idea Bilbous.
What type of fish lives in the Emerald lake?
-
carp fish (prove me wrong)
which mortal gained everlasting fame for its unique interaction with Talad?
-
Bilbous, You're wrong. ;D
In fact they're called Yauth fish.
R: gah, I gotta check ingame. I'll edit this when I'll have the answer. If it's at Jayose, I'll find it. ;)
-
By the way my crackpot theory was that kran are formed by hibernating ulbernauts being encrusted over time by dripping in a magic cave. Of course settings came out with an explanation that relegated mine to the dustbin of krastory.
Did the Yauth eat all the carp? are there no other fish in that lake at all?
You are likely to find the answer to my question in the library; the clue, however, might be too ambiguous -- just like some of the riddles in the game.
-
Bguy – 1
Rigwyn – 4
Tadano – 5
LigH – 3
Peeg – 1
Despaira – 1
Dermathil – 1
Koios – 1
Bilbous – 1
Which mortal gained everlasting fame for its unique interaction with Talad?
I`m guessing the answer is a kran so I`ll go for...
Konroran.
(Though that`s probably not a very ‘ambiguous’ answer)
EDIT: If Bilbous can confirm if I`m right or wrong...if I am right I`ll post a new question.
-
No you are wrong. If you dig deep enough in the lumium mine you might come across Kra's remains, unless I am remembering the story incorrectly or it has changed since I last looked.
-
A: Gugrontid!
Q: Who has Dwingle Stronghand`s plans?
-
STOP!
What question are you answering with "Gugrontid", Tadano?! Is "Gugrontid" the name of the mortal?
-
That is the answer I was looking for. When Talad threw down the pillar that became the town Gugrontid all the Kran were safe except one who was never found again and kra's name was Gugrontid so they named the town after him. Did I get the story wrong? Was my description incorrect? I think it was in a library book but it might have been a quest revelation.
-
No, you`re quite right Bilbous, it`s in the book about Gugrontid (the city), that the stalactite fell upon Gugrontid (the kran) thus the city was named after him.
-
It was specifically Talad that caused it to fall so that the kran would have a place to live, wasn't it? I'd hate to think I embellished the story.
-
Well, Aedaisti interpreted it as Talad having brought down the stalactite onto Gugrontid`s noggin` as a sign, yeah ;D
As for a hint for my latest question: it`s not in the Winch. It is in Hydlaa.
-
Going to go with a random guess: Amidison Stronghand has the plans?
(I'll post my question when I'll have confirmation)
-
Sorry, no.
Look a little further down the levels of society...
-
Those wouldn't be the same plans one of the library denizens ask you to get would they? And if so then before or after you acquire them? As a matter of fact I think it might be possible one of my characters has them right now will that name do?
-
The library isn`t involved.
It is true that someone (A) gives you them to take to someone else (B), from which (B) makes something.
I`m looking for (A).
-
This seems to be rather a "How many quests did you do already?" game now...
-
please avoid going too much in quest informations or you would put spoilers without noticing :)
-
I`ve tried to make sure that neither the question nor answer would spoil any quests.
If you think it`s too hard...then by all means forget about it and someone can post an easier question :)
-
Is it Kilas who has them..?
-
Nope, sorry.
Perhaps it was a bit too hard, my apologies.
How about someone else sets a question? :)
-
How many Bronze doors are there in total on the Dome?
-
just one at the moment ;) or rather none as I haven't actually seen anything that looks like bronze doors at the Eagle Bronze Doors, just the fortress. It is likely that if it was there it would be a double door though but it might be a portcullis/drawbridge affair.
I believe there are theoretically 8 in total though.
One has to wonder why they are made of a soft metal like bronze when they could be made of steel.
-
You don't read books do you? There are two books that should count them, or at least that's what I can come up from the top of my head. There's at least one that for sure has them all, but I ain't sure if the other has it too, or even which is which. All I know is that there's two books that should talk about it. And look outside the library for once. ;)
(did I give too much detail? Maybe I should STFU now...)
-
Actually I have read many of the books just not recently.
-
If I remember correctly, there are seven on the Dome.
-
Tadano, you are correct!
-
Q: The Dome has one winch in Hydlaa the other in in what city?
-
Answer: Donton ( Documented in "Meet the Dome Vigesimi, Book One" )
Question: If you exit Hydlaa and run in a straight line towards Ojaveda you will see a hill with three pointed rocks on top. In the center of those rocks is a small lake. What is the name of this body of water ?
* Not sure if the water is still visible.. on my client I cannot see it any more.
-

Lake of Stealth, right?
-
"Pool of Stealth" .. close enough
-
Q: The Dome is divided in a number of sectors. How many sectors are there in total on that level?
-
Gees a blind guess but I'd say seven, one to match each Bronze Door. Of course I'd probably be wrong.
-
Gees a blind guess but I'd say seven, one to match each Bronze Door. Of course I'd probably be wrong.
Nope.
-
All right I'm thinking eight for Dermathils question, because eight seems to be the predominant number in the area.
-
All right I'm thinking eight for Dermathils question, because eight seems to be the predominant number in the area.
And it is correct. The book "Meet the Dome vigesimis Tome 1" mentionned it as such.
We are waiting for your question now.
-
Oh right sorry:
[I don't know if this is available to the general public but if you guys know...]
Why do Klyros dislike worshipping deities?
Yes I know that one has a story answer, please keep it short for the rest of us.
-
Answer:
It seemed their pride did not allow them to bend to any god.
-
Thats part of it, but there is an even better reason. It has to do with the klyros homeworld... We'll go with what you said if no one can come up with anything. Probably anyone who's been in the Klyros Junction for a while will know what I'm talking about.
-

I just want to know, is the stuff you are talking about that is with Klyros Junction official settings approved by the devs or only stuff created as background for guild? (I just gotta be sure. Ain't Klyros Junction, even if I am Klyros.)
-
Actually I think they got chased out of their home by some race who had a god. I seem to recall they were refugees, might just have been a Tom Petty song though.
-
IIRC the story Dracaeon refers to is official Settings info, but I`m not sure that anyone outside of the Klyros Junction know about it.
-
The Klyros race history hasn't been released to the public so I'm a little confused as how anyone would know whether its official settings info or not and as it is very disjointed and contrary in places it will get some serious editting when I have time.
But Answer: It seemed their pride did not allow them to bend to any god.
Is closest and I think what Dracaeon refers to is one of the inconsistancies that will be removed.
-
Bguy – 1

Tadano – 7
LigH – 3
Peeg – 1
Despaira – 1
Dermathil – 3
Koios – 1
Bilbous – 1
Dracaeon – 1
And it`s Dermathil’s turn to post a question :)
-
In the Jillian Swamps lives a type of creature that can suck you dry in less than 30 seconds (!!!). What is the name of that creature?
-
I'd guess the Shadow Moth?
But as it will possibly belong to whole swarms, it would rather be skinning than sucking blood.
__
Confirming myself. :innocent:
Next question - easy this time:
Kadaikos, the home of the Lemurs, is unknown yet to the inhabitants of Yliakum. But another town beyond the Bronze Doors is legendary - which?
-
I think the key word here is "Legendary" ;D
Answer: Printh
Question: Silver coins while not official currency are sometimes used. How much is a silver coin worth ?

Q: What is the fourth level called?

Rigwyn was wrong. "Printh" is not part of the settings.
-
Answer to Katu's Q: The Stronghold 8)
And if Rigwyn is wrong LigH, I have to say Pradesha.
Q: What is the name of the famous Octarch of the 4th level, who got assassinated in a rather original way?
-
Koios is right for my question.

A: Fertedian Dalko
( Very interesting indeed )
Q: If you are standing in the death realm library reading a book, are you dead or alive ?
-
A: Fertedian Dalko
( Very interesting indeed )
Q: If you are standing in the death realm library reading a book, are you dead or alive ?
Alive, if by dead you mean Permadeath.
Waiting for confirmation.
-
Correct, those wandering the death realm are very much alive.
-
Correct, those wandering the death realm are very much alive.
What is the name of the town under The Winch, and what is the point of interest of that town?
-
A. Nalvys, and it exports produce to Hydlaa. There is also a mint near it that sends most of money we use to Hydlaa. As seen in "The Hydlaa Winch and You".
Q. What is a small purple bird, commonly found in treed areas?
-

Confirmation, it is Nalvys and the point of interest I mentionned was the mint.
A: a Fahny.
Q: Creatures have been added to the forest recently. What are they and what makes them dangerous?
-
Oh, thats cheap. Planeshift doesn't work for me. How am I supposed to answer that?
-
Oh, thats cheap. Planeshift doesn't work for me. How am I supposed to answer that?
Don't know. I can't tell you any more or it wouldn't be fair for the others.
-
A: Forest arangmas. Dangerous as arangmas are said to possess a poison that can cause True Death.
I`ll post a question after confirmation.
-
dang, I was gonna say that but someone said they were'nt dangerous...
-

Yes indeed, there`s one more, though he often seems to be shirking his duties ;)
(and it`s not the kikiri!)
-

Great job, Rigwyn!
We are now waiting for your question!
-
What is a star? a bunch of rats suspended by their tails?
-
Question: What race was Amidison Stronghand's mother ?
Sorry, this was badly worded and inaccurate.
Question: What race was Amidison Stronghand's father, and what race was his mother ?
-
Amidison Stronghands father was Ynnwn, and her mother was... diaboli? or dwarven.
-
Dwarven ! Go figure :)
-
Maybe Amidison is shorter than other Ynnwn... I don't know!
-
Not shorter; you can read in her char description that she is tall and strong (or similar)...
-
Dracaeon's turn to ask a question :)
-
Oh, so that was right? Okay then...
What is the true meaning of music, and who is the person who said this?
This one has a very specific, yliakumian answer, so don't go getting all theoretical on me now.
-
A: The more a performer plays, the more they gain a reputation as one always will, whether 'tis good or bad. If 'tis good one may be asked to entertain at parties, or perhaps to be staffed. It is a blessing and a curse to become staffed, for they have all the luxuries they could wish for, but they forget the true meaning of music... to share.
As said by Roya Vuntarr in "Music In Yliakum"
Right?
-
And... that is correct! Waiting for your question...

-
true death (not enforced currently)
-
Correct !
Waiting for your question :)
-
Where are the White Towers?
-
A: In Ojaveda? Off the top of my head I don`t remember which Dsar.
-
oh well you'll need to be more specific if you want the good housekeeping seal of approval, or at least the acquiescence of the other players.
-
:) Well then....
A: Dsar Sarraghi.

-
Was it 220 ?
-
Veeery close.
But no.
-
Answer: 211 ( they can be up to 20m in diameter )
Question: Which race named the crystal "the azure sun"
-
xacha? [process]elimination[/process]
-
Nope ( at least that's not the race I have in mind )
-
lemur [process id=2] elimination [/process]
-
A. The Ylians. As stated in "The Crystal"
Q. How do Consumers determine the size and relative threat of another animal? Please state the documentation of where you found the information as well.
-
Dang I thought ylians was too easy :(
-
Read the books. You might get it more.
-
Aw I dun wanna read them again.... :(
I jus wanna make wild guesses from what I barely remember :)
-
A: The can sense vibrations.
A few experiments have led me to believe that they are able to sense vibrations and movement to determine the size and relative threat of beings around them.
- as found in A Deeper Study of Yliakum Soil, Volume 2, by Jardet Forsill
-
And... Correct!!! Awaiting your question...
-
Okay, not such a hard one this time...
Q: Name the forgetful Hydlaa guard.
-
gees could it be the one at the upper gate always trying to remember what blandishments to deliver?
Bovek or Bevon or Bo Diddly, I think.
Oh Ya Remant.
how many i's in a kikiri cry?
-
Is that an African or a European kikiri? ;)
-
[NPC] Kikiri says: Kikikikikiri!
A: 6 i's.

Q: Which important artefact is kept in the temple in Hydlaa?
(Semi-pro's: This is an easy question, keep it for occasional players.)
-
Is it the "Book of Names"?
Q: How many Enkidukai Packs are there altogether?
-
one for each living enkidukai to keep their things in but that is probably not what you mean ;)
By the way kikiris only have two eyes to cry from, but six was the correct answer.
-
@ Akaiddo: Correct.
And if packs are recognisable by fur and clothing ... and they avoid mixing usually ... but I still wonder how the Sarraghi fur will look one day.
-
A. Six, I beleive. Awaiting confitmation.....

Rabani, Blikau, Sarraghi, Clamod, Akkaio, Kore.

Dracaeon, we await your question. :)
-
Q. In the beginning, what was Konroran obsessed with?
-
bananas
-
Should Bilbous`s fruity answer prove false...
A: Kra`s feelings of guilt that the creation of the kran had also caused Laanx`s scarring, thus kra was obsessed with Laanx and making amends...this spurred kran to devote himself to creating a statue of Laanx.
-
:@#\ I was about to say Laanx
Though Banannas might be a closer match if Laanx had actually become male :detective:
-
Well Laanx did go bananas, according to common vernacular.
-
I think its reasonable to say that Tadano is correct.
Waiting for next question :sorcerer:
-
Okay then...
What is the benefit of using falka over oil or wood for lighting?
-
Tough one. Neither quest related NPCs know it... and they don't mention any details during the quest.
My guess would be that it doesn't smoke as much; or is otherwise less aggressive to paper (e.g. less acidic).
-
it is easier to curse out the falkan lantern without actually using improper language.
-
Answer: Because Falka holds fire longer than a glyph. :detective:
-As falka holds a fire longer than a glyph, so to does a fool hold wisdom longer than a sage.-

How many people work in the winch building?

Answer: 9 ? ( correct me if wrong )
two on the bottom floor ( on in hay stalls, red guy near stairs )
thee on the middle floor ( dwarf near gears, elf around corner , ylian /xacha? trainer near stairs )
four on the top floor (the vigisimi , guy to his right, diaboli in front of him and and klyros in back )
I didn't count the guys who stand outside of the building- ie. in doorways
Glad you didn't ask for names :P

A: Irifon River.

Correct. Please post your question :)
-
What is the source of the Irlfon River?
-
What is the source of the Irlfon River?
Um, I had no idea for a question, so I'll let that one pass.
A: Shouldn't it be the Cups of Laanx?
-
I have the "Leaky Rocks" in mind, but I am not sure if that is the source or just a pass-through.
-
I believe the water seeps in though the walls of the upper two levels.
I would agree that "Leaky Rocks" is right.
-
Question: How many months are there in one cycle ?
-
According to the Yliakum Calendar (http://pswiki.xordan.com/index.php?title=Yliakum_Calendar): 10 months.
Uh, I still have a question to ask ... preparing, stay tuned.

Alright:
Who in Hydlaa has probably the most comfortable job, because it is not even necessary to leave the house for it?
-
Odd question, which building that can be considered a house can you enter? none I think.
At a guess I'd have to say Saria Dunwallow (?) who stands on the rooftop terrace in behind the red crystal den.
-
Well, the person left the house for a chat and maybe a trade; but not for working.
-
a housewife?
-
Alright:
Who in Hydlaa has probably the most comfortable job, because it is not even necessary to leave the house for it?
I am going to say the Octarch who's name I forget, but hey he never leaves and get's everybody else to do stuff for him...
What do I win?/me grins
Roled Rolak
-
No, I would not call the Octarch's job "comfortable", even though he usually is located in his office.
And it is a business job, more than just being a housewife waiting for the husband to return.
In fact, it recently became quite popular, since this person also offers tools and training to try it yourself.
-
Burdess. Because she has a river running under her house.
-
Bingo! :)
-

Q: At how many paces from the Azure Sun is death caused?
-
Less than 12
Using logic and common sense, scientists concluded that the nearer than twelve steps from the Crystal, the radiation dissociates matter, sometimes even generating random chain reactions that could be very dangerous.
-
One point to the thug! ;)

Your question, guv`nor!
-
"With words combined in subtler times, all the chimes will ring. On that ring cast the best of all the sombre chants, net of hymns to bind, and find a friend with whom to prance, away from all enmity, disaster or chance."
Can you name the author?
-
Levrus, no?
-
Guess again, sunshine.
-
I'm thinking its related to the rivnak quest... I would say its the guy who stands by the hay, but I don't remember his name... :( so I'll guess its jardet ?
-
sounds like sharven to me...
-
"Yur all a buncha clackers" grumbles Vikka
All wrong I'm afraid. ;D
-
My guess is Remiilon, {sp?} the guy in the sewer with aggression problems...
-
Ye---NO!
Keep trying...
-
Shall I start giving out clues?
The answer is in the Magic Shop :)
-
Game seems to have ground to a halt. Too tricky for you huh?
”“With words combined in subtler times, all the chimes will ring. On that ring cast the best of all the somber chants, net of hymns to bind, and find a friend with whom to prance, away from all enmity, disaster or chance.”” - Author unknown
My original question was : Can you name the author?
The answer is, no you can't. :)
Okay I reckon I deserve a point for that...
and a new question... easier one this time:
The church of Laanx has many branches, but how many diats does it have? (explain your answer)
-
Answer: 40 ( 1 diat per branch(5) per level (8) ) Reference: The Five Branches of Laanx ( Jayose' Library )
Question: Where do glyphs come from ?
-
Hrm I'm goign to guess Talad.
-
According to 3.4.3. THIRD EPOCH: THE REALM OF LAANX garoninja should be right, with one exception (Hydlaa - created by Vòdul).
-
Waiting on Garosan for the next question :)
-
Sorry about that, didnt know if I i had the right answer. What is Talad's most powerful glyph?
-
Probably the one he used to create the Kran? ... But I can't find its name in the Player GUide. Maybe more sources elsewhere?
-
Isn't his most powerful glyph "HYDLAA"????
Roled Rolak
-
Yes :)
Please post your question Roled :)
-
Yeah! I won one!! /me grins.
All right, Friends... an easy one.

A nolthrir maiden's armpits?
-
::|
-
No ... the seaweed burned in Kada-El's fireplace.
-
\\o// Right you are LigH, of course! \\o//
Altho I liked the idea of going around sniffing Northrir armpits... :whistling:
Your turn my friend!
Roled
-
Iwwww.. I'm picturing a smell that resembles raw onions, fish and salt :(
A few days without a bath and you'll have a stew brewing under there .
-
Q: The content of one of the bottles in Kada-El's is not for drinking, but for ... ?
-
The answer to this one is needed by some NPC in a quest...
Question: how many answers to questions asked in some quest step or clues to find out how to fulfill the next quest step can one find in this thread without having to look for in game?
-
There is a valid answer for my question which does not depend on any quest knowledge, just requires telling what one can see directly.
-
Yet, taking it this way, you can ask what NPC trains what. After all, it's public information ingame and does not depend on any quest knowledge: one just needs to click on the NPC to see directly this information...
Whatever, my aim was just a remark to be careful as to what can be a spoiler or not (and unfortunately there's no answer for it, unless knowing of every quest, book, etc. in game).
Your answer: cure infectious wounds.
Q: who was thrown in jail and had to take leave of her (that's a hint ;)) market stall in Dsar Sarraghi because of Jirosh Mikana? (let's hope that's not used in any quest...)
-
I appreciate your warnings and try to avoid spoilers; I believe I already warned too in the beginning of this thread...
__
Unfortunately I can't answer your question.
-
I think that's Nyshyn Klannarr.
-
Correct.
-
toasted seaweed tastes delicious. don't hate on it.
-
So Tadano is up for the next question, right?
We await with seaweed scented breath!

Q: Talad`s Temple (not the small one in Gugrontid, I mean the big one not yet In Game) is under the purview of which vigesimi?
-
Otlidi Eam.
There is an item with a sign ending with the words "Steal at your own risk" and a lock glowing a ominous red. Whose item is it?
-
I`m going to guess the Octarch of the Dome, Iragdun Salikarios.
-
William Chorind
-
mine
-
None of them.
-
I believe at least one more hint could help keeping this game alive.
-
Look for chests.
-
I would have guesses that Boralis has one secured, after the raid... but it didn't look so.
Ah - found it! In the store of the Akkaio Outfitters. Golden Rings are valuable, indeed.
-
According to the age of the small fountains ("Complex wells") system, Hydlaa must already have existed before the God __(A)__ arrived, therefore the race of the __(B)__ who created monumental buildings made of __(C)__ must have arrived a lot later.
-
Off the top of my head to resurrect this:
A) Laanx
B) Xacha
C) Iron
But I doubt that's right since you said "buildings" instead of "a building".
-
Well, I counted both tower and Laanx temple to the iron buildings constructed by Xacha - but that were the answers I was looking for.
Your turn!
-
Whoops, I don't really know that much yet...
Which guard in Yliakum has been called an ~"ice queen"?
-
:o
Funny question! So far I only remember 3 female guards, and one of them is everything but "reserved"...
-
@ Nivm:
Can this information only be obtained via a quest?
-
@ligh I have a small problem I am pretty sure that it is said somewhere that the windowless tower predates Hydlaa, and the Xacha.
-
The more NPCs you ask, the more theories you hear about the iron buildings in Hydlaa. Them being built by Xacha is only one theory you can hear. Well possible that others tell you the opposite. Nevertheless, a strong relation between Xacha, Laanx, and iron constructions seems to be common knowledge about Yliakum history. So wether really Xacha or not built the Iron Tower - it seems to be most probable that they could have done it. And the Laanx temple - are there similar doubts or beliefs who built that? Unless the Settings publish a historical document about it, it will stay a myth for us. ;)
But the Complex wells appear to be even older, and that seems to be quite certain, somehow...
-
From a quest, as is most dialog. Sorry for being late. I will probably be so again, so skip me if a good question is suggested.
-
Nivm, it seems that hardly anyone knows this quest. And in general, quests are a quite exclusive source of Settings information...
So I hope you don't mind a new question:
Apart from the Nolthrir and Kran, which other race can breathe underwater?
-
klyros! \\o//
-
So it is written...
Your question!
-
What happened to the clamond clan (Enkidukai)
-
As far as I remember, they don't "own" a Dsar in Ojaveda, but primarily live in the suburbs with the Mills. (According to the Dsar sketch I have seen, which seems to be unknown to the Wiki authors, the Mills are not a Dsar inside the city of Ojaveda, but rather located in front of the city walls.)
Or do you refer to a different topic?
-
good enough
