Problem: either they are really placed there (which I hope not), or are "lured" there by players who then simply leave the game or whatever...
What happens is that one "dies" simply because of lag, and that again, again and again, as they clog upcertain points where they just don't belong. It is just not funny that you enter a zone, load - takes some time on older machines - and once you get the picture, yu only see your chart dropping dead, becuase something you did not even see killed you - unavoidable. This is just not as ist should be...
Worst areas are the sewer "entrances" (especially the one behind Kada-Els) and the Laanx Dungeon exit.
If they could not enter the actual load zones, one copuld finally load, see what monsters are there and see that one dodges them (as planned).

In my opinion, client should send "loading data" and/or "compiling shaders" information to the server and server should make player's character invisible to NPCs and when the normal view is restored, the visibility for NPCs should be restored.

This is a little off topic .. but after upgrading to 0.5 it was taking a very long time for my client to load maps because the shader cache *directory* was not getting populated. Deleting directory cause the shader cache *file* to get populated properly and loading times were much better. Dont know if this is a factor in this particular case or not ...

i have a similer complaint but rather with server restarting or shutting down or just plain crashing, i'll be fighting somthing or another, consmer, gladiator, rogue, ect and the server will shut off for whatever reason, and when people can log back on, every time, i log on, and im in DR....it can really piss any person off..and the monsters uilding up in loading areas, i have that problem to, but what is really stupid is how since the mobs are so much stronger, they are at least 4 or 5 times stronger then 4.03, even with my 100 heavy armor, they can still kill me in a loading screen even though that the game is loading my char should be in a fully defensive stance, there is definitly somthing wrong with that...
