Title: Instant crash

Hi!

I am experiencing problems with one of my Characters, Majiora. Since she received her entrance to Winch and got her flying pet, I cannot play her anymore. As soon as the map has finished loading I crash. I am not sure if the pet really has anything to do with it as my main Char has 3 pets and she runs perfectly.
Majiora also starts up on my Windows 7 Notebook, but not on my Mac.
A GM has already reset her position twice with no avail.

I'd love to send the crash report but it is too long to post it here in the forum.

Any solutions?

Now my Main Character has the same problem all of a sudden:

Other characters are still loading besides these two, so it cannot be a problem with graphics card etc.

But anyways: iMac 2,16 GHz
ATY Radeon X 1600

Hello,

I've had this issue a few days ago — the symptoms are the same, at the very least.

Look into ~/Library/Application Support/Planeshift
Those are your settings, guild notes, chat history, etc.

Try to troubleshoot the issue by renaming the Planeshift directory in order to make Planeshift create a fresh one while keeping the old one.
Start the client, then quit, and in the newly created directory, add your old files (from the renamed directory) one at a time to find out which one is causing the problem.

My issue was resolved by removing the chat history file (well, I kept a copy; just moved the file elsewhere), it's in the logs subdirectory.

In my case it was the questnotes I had saved to the character.
