Title: Russian Singing...so annoying...yet addicting

So my favorite comedian (raywilliamjohnson) did a little thing on this video. It's a russian man from the 1970s...singing. It would be normal..if he wasn't just singing "loolllolol yayaya nanana lolollo hahahhaa" etc etc. And he magically keeps his mouth in eternal smile, even when the words he sings you can't sing smiling (which leads me to think he's lip syncing poorly XD).

The 70's were a freaky time. Check out  "hocus pocus" by focus  (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bpV5InLw52U)
The lyrics are every bit as coherent and just gaze in wonder at the keyboardist/singer!

omg!!!!!   I saw that Russian singing movie!!!!!!!!!!!  Its justn like you said, annoying, but so much fun to listen to. \\o// \\o//

Believe it or not that song was in regular rotation for several years on progressive fm station here in Canada, of  course back then we had no video goodness to complete the experience. I hope you didn't miss the whistling...

that wasn't so bad other than the whole "night at the roxbury"  theme of the video. besides the girls in the band were quite attractive which never hurts.

This was of course the "Night at the Roxbury" parodistic dance version; the original folk song is a lot more annoying, especially as theme for many funny flash animations. And the band members of Loituma look a bit like ... uhm, at least not like typical music video stars.

I will admit they seemed to be cast from the same mold as Abba....and that was a band I always found annoying.
