Lol, you must have never met a male if you think Yoko isn't what males want as a wallpaper.

Heh, I wouldn't be surprised if I saw a college boy walking around with it. But if I saw it on my friend's itouch....O.o
What's a render? :P
Pretty much an image in .png form (so the background is transparent).

If I could I would, but I'm one of those poor kids who doesn't have an Itouch :'(

I am not really into wallpapers ... but technically they are no miracle. As much as ringtones. Everyone could make them on their own -- just knowing the exact specifications (details and limits) is important. But instead, millions of people prefer buying them over learning how to make them for free... Generation Jamba.

what the hell is that ugly bug-eyed 80's-haired humanoid thing?
mine is a dragon....

Uhhh.....sure. O.o I usually change my background regularly (like once a week or so). I like having variety.

Sure they could, but what is the average quality of wallpaper that each person makes? I've seen all types of people of all types of experience do graphics (maybe because I practically live in a graphics forum lol), trust me, I would never be able to make a computer wallpaper :P but so many people I know can make amazing ones! I work better with small spaces than larger ones. I usually don't know how to fill space...tuts don't help due to the fact I'm not good at following directions when it comes to graphics XD And I do buy as well as make my own stuff ^_^

You misunderstood ... of course, not everyone can make attractive art as content for a wallpaper.
And not everyone who makes art also respects some useful limits for wallpapers, e.g. that they should be decent and not hide icons on it due to high contrast.
But everyone could convert art into a format which is suitable as wallpaper for specific devices. All one needs is to know how.
And if it is just resizing an image to a specific dimension and saving it in a specific format.
Like I made my own ringtones for my Nokia 6300i: I used a sample editor to cut a loopable part out of a song, and used the NeroAACEnc encoder to convert it to AAC. Then I uploaded it to my cellphone via USB cable. So simple. And now I have a ringtone probably noone else has.
Yet...
Anyone interested? ... And let's see if you can detect out of which songs they got extracted:

Oh sorry then, guess what you said didn't process well into my 14-year old mind :P It's true though, people are just lazy though XD
And those are the awesomest ringtones ever  Probably won't use 'em though since I barely use my phone lol.

Well, if you are just 14, then you will probably never have heard these songs. They were quite famous in the late 80s though.

My wallpaper is the death star II
My ring town is the intro to Gary Numan - Cars
and there's no easy methds of changing an iphones text tone.
Used to have the lovely navi shouting 'Hey, Listen!' with every text.
-
Noone was able yet to find out which songs I used?
...
SMS: "3 a.m. Eternal" / Call: "Last Train To Transcentral" (KLF - The White Room; 1991)
-
nobody listened to house music until daft punk came about :P
-
Since when was KLF "House"?! -- Or maybe I didn't expect House to be so versatile...
