Hello everybody. I'm popping in once again. Here's a little something I was introduced to that I think the folk around here would really like. It's the SarcMark. The official punctuation of sarcasm. All it takes is one little download your witty sarcasm shall never again be wasted on the clueless. Feel free to check it out for yourselves. I can't do much with it though. They don't have Firefox support yet. But it is currently free to download right now.
SarcMark - Tell them how you really feel (http://02d9656.netsoljsp.com/SarcMark/modules/user/commonfiles/loadhome.do)

My predictions on who could get the most use out of this would be:
XilliX
UndertheMoon

Funny, it looks a lot like this ---> (http://www.debian.org/logos/openlogo-nd-50.png) Just upside down.
Think they could have come up with something more original (http://02d9656.netsoljsp.com/SarcMark/images/graphics/rk.png)

The official punctuation of sarcasm
-
hey there's an ear symbol!
-
ಠ_ಠ <--- This is how I unambiguously express my dissaproval of new punctuation.
-
Oh yes, sarcasm makes me look SOOO cool over the internet.
-
Well ... if you believe you need a symbol - use it. :)
But don't expect the whole world to understand it immediately.
Or the Unicode team to implement it. :P
-
Oh sure, like punctuation for sarcasm is like, really useful.
-
Would help if the link actually went somewhere ;D
-
Nice

Why needing a sign to express sarcasm...it's the internet...no need for this here. If there is a post that agrees with you just enjoy the ass licking and take every other post offensive. Works in this forum, works on most internet pages...works almost everywhere.
-
Those who do not understand sarcasm do not need to understand. They are the target. You don't yell "HEY DEER! I am bout to shoot!" before you pull the trigger.

*smacks forehead* That's what I've been doing wrong!
A "Sarc Mark" huh...? Now all we need is one for irony, passive aggression, and of course the Marq Mark™ that indicates copious amounts of awesomeness. ;)

It's a novelty item. :P It has nothing to do with it's inherent usefulness. It's just a really cute idea, like the book on what men knew before women came along.... that's empty. ;)

Lies! Don't you know the Marq Mark is also the officially unofficial universally accepted regional imaginary punctuation for modesty? M™
-
Arrogant, cocky, vain. I have been called these things. This is simply not true. I'm actually a modest man. If I were not, my glory would blind your eyes and cover the world in a light of unparalleled wit and beauty.

You forgot the M™

Marqsaynt, as another modest intellectual on a higher plane of greatness, I extend an invitation that you join bloodedIrishman & co.

Yeah, it is entertaining that a company thinks they can copyright a punctuation mark. Although it looks like after a year they are still doing it. Perhaps it's because people don't actually want to point out their sarcasm, so they can feel clever when they're misunderstood.
