Anyone see that show trigun on adult swim? The last episode was just on today it was good. But does anyone actualy like anime? normaly not for hentai? if you do respond
on anime shows you like or what you think about them

Well, Manga/anime and hentai is NOT the same thing, Hentai is more or less porn, but have you seen a \"real\" anime? Examples on real anime is Akira (great), and Ghost in the shell (a must see).

Record of Lodoss War is also quite good.  I picked up the entire first series some time ago, and got the first 2 tapes of the second series.  I have Ghost in the Shell, but haven\'t watched it in ages.

Spirited away (See the japanese version, the American version is censored as usual, In my opinion, one of the best Anim?s there is.)

Princess Mononoke (Havn\'t seen it yet, but it looks good)

Street fighter 2: The animated movie. (Yes, this one is great)

Street fighter Zero (Cute style, and very good)

Akira: (This one is also a must-see, dark style)

a great anime series which also has some connection with PS (well IMHO a bit) is hack sign ...it\'s a great series :] (not hentai!! ...i don\'t watch that shit)

also great animes are FLCL (furi kuri), wolf\'s rain, naruto, one piece, ...

Well, the movies I wanted to tell were already mentioned.

But I try to follow as many Anime series as possible.

Gundam, which is supposed to have a good story (still gotta see em though, my brother has \'em...)
Neon Evangelion Genesis (sp?), but haven\'t seen the end yet :\'(

i have akira and ghost in  the shell on dvd aswell as blood the last vampire thats good too
umm i seen loads of others that i cant remember the name of i think one i seen was called fist of the north start or something that was great

but anime is awseome my girlfriend cant understand why i like it soo much she says im too old for cartoons but i say its not just cartoons its got blood and guts and swords and guns and BIG SWORDS and BIG GUNS  and blood and violence and action

BTW. \"fist of the North star\"? Yes, I havn\'t seen it yet, but I\'ve heard it\'s good.

BTW 2. Actually I rather see one Anim? than ten Hollywood-movies.

that\'s one decent anime about a MMORG world, I strongly recommend.

as far as Trigun goes, first 13 series are better than the second batch, but it\'s good, alright.

(are we talking about same Trigun? the one I\'m talking about has no adult content, even if it\'s better understood by adults)

I like anime too, I\'m trying to catch up on this one show about females who have these battle suites and fight these huge robot monsters, but I think hbo canceled it or its summer lineup cause i haven\'t seen it in awhile.

I think the plot in .hack//sign was too slow moving, although it was good. Has anyone seen gto? I liked that. And Naruto is awesome. I started it one day and was on episode 29 by the end of the day. That\'s 15 hours of anime straight. I think if I was hypnotised I could speak Japanese.  Naruto isn\'t finished, though. It\'s on episode 32 now, I think, so if you watch that you\'ll have to wait a week for every new episode.  I haven\'t seen cowboy bebop, but I\'ve heard it\'s awesome. Dragon Ball Z.. sucks as far as anime is concerned.

Anyway, I don\'t like Dragon Ball and Gundam, But my favorite anime list would be pretty similar to yours.
I also loved RahXephon, Lain, and Gasaraki. I\'ve seen the 3 first episodes of .hack//sign, and it seems pretty good so far.

And of course, My all time favorite is : Cool Devices :D (j/k)

Actually, i only watched the third to last episode and only like the first five minutes of the second to last and last episodes.  Anime philosophy never makes any sense to me and is just plain boring to watch.  This is why I didnt really like Serial Experiment Lain(even though i watched the whole series), it was too philosophical, and it weird even for an anime, which have a rep for being weird.

oh well, it just reinforces my racist opinion that the japanese are crazy.

Well I have never been a fan of anime but have never seen any of it to judge by.  though last weekend I saw .hack/sign.  And I was mildly impressed.  Two of my favorite genres are fantasy and cyberpunk.  And I believe hack/sign is a pretty good blend of them both.  Though the storyline is pretty slow going.

My favourite anime is probably Laputa: castle in the sky, though princess monoke is great too.

For a giggle grab Cyber City OEOD 2080, it\'s a classic and you can get all 3 parts on one video or DVD these days =3

just for fun here\'s a stupidly long list of some of the anime I\'ve seen/own and what I think of em  :)

Akira - cool
Angel Cop - over the top and filled with swearing but fun all the same
Appleseed - read the mangas but NEVER EVER watch this stupid anime ><
Bubblegum Crisis - cool
Bubblegum Crisis 2040 - even better!
Card Capture Sakura - nice and sweet (if it\'s not the \'kiddy\' dub version)
Chobits - cute \'n funny ^^
Cowboy Bebop - super stylish
Dragon Half - outright gigglefest =D
Excel Saga - super strange and super funny
Fist of the North Star - both the series and movie are so macho it\'s silly.  good for a giggle
FLCL - so weird it\'s just cool XD
Genocyber - uh... what just happened? *blink*
Ghost in the Shell - nice but the mangas are waaay better =3
Giant Robo - odd but fun
Golgo 13: the professional - cool and almost retro
Jin-Roh - cool but \'deep\' o.O

Laputa : Castle in the Sky - waii!!!
Martian Sucessor Nadesico - great, just DON\'T watch the movie because it sucks
Monoke Hime (Princess Monoke) - epic
Ninja Scroll - Enjoyable
Orguss 02 - weird but worth watching
Outlaw Star - very cool!
Perfect Blue - weird but snazzy... there\'s a scene in it that makes me cringe in my seat though -.-
Project A-ko - great fun!
Slayers - TV series is ok, the movies are ok to amazing and the oavs are a blast!!!
Spriggan - nice but just kind of \'ok\' =/
Tank Police - a good laugh ^^

*scratches head* seen lots more than that but that\'s all I can remember off the top of my head  :)

Perhaps I missed it but I did not see anyone mention Hajime No Ippo! IMO One of the best shows ever. In depth character development, exciting plot and nice artwork make this anime stand out among all of the others I have seen. Its a must see  ;)

if you find .hack//sign to slow, you should watch .hack//dusk(or legend of the twilight bracelet, i don\'t know what it will be called in the usa), it\'s the follow up of hack sign and it\'s a lot faster(only 13 eps though)

i personally like animes like Wolf\'s Rain better and i\'m currently watching Texnholyze(great anime, people just don\'t watch it cause they don\'t talk in the first ep..)
Hajime no Ippo was pretty good too, it had 76 episodes but didn\'t become boring at all.

Some of my favorites, in no particular order, are:

Lain, Nadesico, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Kodomo No Omocha (Don\'t judge me!), Crest of the Stars (Including the follow-up serieses), Grave of the Fireflies, Patlabor, Bubblegum Crisis (and 2040), Boogiepop Phantom, Betterman, Ninja Scroll, Monoke Hime, Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell, Blue Seed, Ah! My Goddess, and Macross (not the same as Robotech).

I also have the first 2 DVDs to .hack//SIGN, and it looks to be good so far.

Its a pain trying to collect all these series on DVD, though; anime DVD costs are insane, at the moment, but I do have most of those serieses on VHS, so no huge loss.
My best friend had a strange Tenchi fixation when they first started airing it on Cartoon Network, something I never quite understood...

a couple of years ago i really enjoyed stuff like fist of the north star, sixth point of the star, vampire hunter d,  ...
when i watch them now they\'re really cracking me up. only 2meter muscle guys and a couple of 20 cm high,  big eye girls :) still fun to watch though.

i really loved ghost in the shell. it\'s also funny to see how the matrix actually put some of that style into a \"real\" movie.

what i\'m really looking forward to is ghost in the shell 2. i\' m glad it\'s actually being made.
