Title: Need help loading a book.
Post by: Falcon Avian on April 30, 2010, 05:31:10 pm
I'm trying to load my book into others to make copies, but when ever I try to load them I always get "File not found". How specific do I have to be? I tried every combination I could think of.

Libraries\Documents\Magic
Libraries\ Documents\ Magic
Libraries \Documents \ Magic
Libraries\Documents\Magic.txt
Libraries\ Documents\ Magic.txt
Libraries \Documents \ Magic.txt
Libraries\Documents\Magic .txt
Libraries\ Documents\ Magic .txt
Libraries \Documents \ Magic .txt
Libraries\Documents\Magic(*.txt)
Libraries\ Documents\ Magic(*.txt)
Libraries \Documents \ Magic(*.txt)
Libraries\Documents\Magic (*.txt)
Libraries\ Documents\ Magic (*.txt)
Libraries \Documents \ Magic (*.txt)

I can't think of anymore combinations, please help.

At least on Windows you just type in the name of the book. So try Magic.txt ;)

You'd think it would be either Libraries\Documents\Magic.txt or Libraries \ Documents \ Magic.txt

...maybe its a forward slash...

I really wonder where the idea about "Libraries\Documents" comes from, at all. There is a default directory where all books are saved to (under Windows: "%APPDATA%\PlaneShift\books"), and "Libraries" or "Documents" don't appear there in general.

Mac OS X    ~/Library/Application Support/PlaneShift
Would explain the "Libraries" and "Documents and settings" is used in some versions of windows.
