Will there be a mouse freelook in the game or will I have to use the keyboard to look and move :( ? Sorry if this question was asked, please give me a link to the answer then (I wasn\'t able to look for it - slow connection today).
PS. Why don\'t you allow avatars for users :/ ?

Avatars are for the devs/contest winners as a sign of power :P . If you press / or \\ on the keyboard, it enables mouselook.

With my german keyboard this means either Shift+7 or AltGr+? ... not a good solution.

There should be a keys.xml file located somewhere in your Planeshift dir that should allow you to change the keys around to what you would like.

Well, the mouse-look is not exactly what most people expect. You can only spectate, and look around, but cannot turn with mouse. It would be nice if the mouse would actually turn your character.
I think this is what most PlaneShifters want from mouselook.

I think thats on the dev\'s to-do list.

the mouse look works as in all other games... are you sure you pressed the right button??? On my keyboard (danish) you have to press the asterisk * key... (if i remember correctly)
-
On some keyboards you have to press \\, on others * and on others #.
And it is true that for the * or the # you\'ll have to press the shift key, is that so bad? ?(
Anyways, as acraig said, if you don\'t like it, change it. ;)

The mouselook works fine in 1st person view, maybe not in 3rd person (didn\'t try actually).
but I think it has a problem, because it seems to be framerate dependant : it is seems to be more sensitive when framerate is high.
