I don't think that everybody should or will return from the Death Realm with quickness. It is supposed to be big and hard to get out of. Though I do bow to you for trying to get religion involved in a mechanic-based event, and I hope that you do find a Dakkru priest. That needs to happen more often.Thank you for your observations, it would appear that information regarding the rp aspects of the event that appears in previous announcements and rules has been accidently ommitted from Heleckie's post.... Ritual and roleplay has always been there, in the form of the recommended last meal with friends, and the ritual cleansing before combat. it's just that the participants have shown themselves more eager to get to the event's kernel, rather than the preliminaries.
These are the RULES for the battle event to be known henceforth as:
"THE CHAMPION'S CUP"
THE following will be allowed:-
* Magic
* Enchanted Weapons
* All Potions
* Hiring of assassins, mercenaries and
bodyguards
* Inter-guild treaties, together with any
other available strategy or tactic imagin-
able that will ensure the victory of your
guild, so long as they occur within the
confines of the chosen battle area....
ALL combatants must be in the combat zone 15 minutes before the battle begins so that enemies can be targeted, tactics finalised and deals made.
Mounts will not be allowed as this is considered to be cruelty to animals.

ON the day of the battle - at the chosen location - "The Champion's Cup" will be placed on the earth for all to see. At a given signal, combat will start. When members of only one guild remain, the Champion's Cup willl be unguarded and taken by the victors. Their guild name will be inscribed into the Book of Honour.
AFTER one month the Champion's Cup will be placed once more into the area of combat and battle will recommence.
KEEP your weapons sharp and your brain sharper.
