Title: Mouse Dynamics
Post by: racip on August 16, 2010, 10:06:32 pm
1) Q=Isnt boring how see your char kicking a NPCs automatically? 2)Q= Reading what was the damage recived or given? 3=Q the blocking system is related whit your stats like agility but , why dont place it like a button? of course related to your stamina
1)A=e.g. a kick is click whit your mouse you have certain stamina for 3-10 hits , and put yourself in automatc (when youre training certain skill) you can move left , right , and attack from behind skiping the hits of the NPCs

2)the damage or blocking  information is in the main or system chat tab , whit that information place it like when youre speaking (bubbles) of course only place the information of the hits damages ion the system tab not in the main tab

3)for example button "c" blobk you have certain time to block after that time you cant block (related to your agility and stamina) more dynamic while youre trying to kill a NPCs , (if NPCs tribu feature is fully complete)

as for 1) and 3) way too exploitable and ping dependent (yeah, would really suck for those on slow connections :P)

as for 2: thinking of red numbers appearing at the NPC if you hit it or something alonge those lines?

2) well , I know every RPG game have it , PS have to be different but is a good feature , would add more "intensity" to the game .... I want to be honest , never felt such intensity while I was killing a NPC. :(

"Every other game has it" is no reason that PS must copy it. ;)

Seeing more clearly how an opponent gradually gets hurt before it dies might be more intense.

But why numbers or bars? :detective:

Why not bloody overlays according to the damage to body parts as reported in the status channel?  :whistling:

I´m still thinking about the Mouse click/Hit , and...what about blood coming out of the NPCs? that would be more interesting for boys under 13 ...!

and there´s another movements? when your char makes the same movement the whole time , you know when a critical hit comes your char can jump or scream....  ::)
