Title: The BISM - New (Better) Website!
Post by: Kiern on May 18, 2003, 04:53:03 pm: Ok, as some of you have noticed The BISM website has been down for a couple of days, that was because lokee has been putting up our new website! The website can still be reached by http://bism.tk check it out and tell us what you think of the new site, remember though, it\'s still being worked on :)

Sorry but all the old members will have to register :( but I guess it will let us know how many we actually have without those that wont come back

...so now that were back up, join!!

Anyway, at the moment, I am browsing the website. It is kind of slow, but I like the new look of the website. The Faction area is fine, though perhaps there could be links at the top of the page to take viewers down to the area. Although I\'m not sure if anyone is really going to use that feature. The \'Quick Reply\' on the forums is great for lazy people like me! The statistics area looks fine, and the Members List looks organized as well. The Story Page is great. Overall, the whole site is kind of slow (except the FAQ), but the new look is great and the new features are excellent.

Now where are the \'Roleplay\' forums and/or \'Off-topic\' forums? :P Or am I supposed to go somewhere else to get them? Then again, the site is still under construction... I eagerly await the time when the site can be called \'done,\' though with later edits in the future...

There are some small probs left, but nothing big enough to keep people from doing anything they want. And yes, it is a bit slow, but I think that\'s because of the Lycos server, because it\'s also slow on the T3 line I\'m on.
All in all, the site has undergone some huge improvements.

I\'d like to invite all current and, of course, new members to drop by and return life to the forums. I\'ve already started some threads to give you all something to reply to. :P

So now I\'m playing some games like D2 and posting on the PlaneShift board. I\'m very enthusiastic about it and will continue to watch it grow and help out the community.
