Kikiris don't tend to hang around Gugrontid, so I am just wondering why there would be a Kikiri in the Stonehead?
-
It's a pet/mascot.
-
And a graceful dance partner.... :woot:
-
She was a pet intended to become a mascot and I supposed that goal was achieved.
-
Well she is rather famous... maybe one day the devs will make a rock Kikiri :P ;D
-
The road from Ojaveda to Gugrontid is long… somebody should write a story: how Lady P got to the Stonehead.
That, or Lady P spawned there magically…
-
There is a kikiri at the explorers outpost and in the past there were kikiris in Hydlaa as well ( back when Lady P first came to the Stonehead there were Kikiris in Hydlaa.
-
There are no more kikiris in Hydlaa?
THIS GAME HAS OFFICIALLY GONE TO THE DOGS /NERDRAGE
-
They don't have various Kikiri in Hydlaa anymore?! Like the in front of the library or the temple? Those were cute because I thought of it as a a wake up system for Jayose in the library or Sharven in the temple, but then again time isn't extant in PS, nor is the sun lulz.
I'm pretty sure it isn't all that difficult to transport a kikiri from one place to another. Don't couriers transport kikiri since it is a source of food for other cities and towns?
Edit: lol Candy we thought of the same thing at the same time. Darn you for being faster. :P

I've read the story of Lady Peckerly, tis' a long un' lads.
-
Her name was elected (here (http://www.hydlaaplaza.com/smf/index.php?topic=35293.msg408064#msg408064) and in the Stonehead tavern forum (http://stoneheadps.freeforums.org/kikiri-naming-event-t11.html)).
Please adore Lady Peckerly! (http://stoneheadps.freeforums.org/kikiri-adoration-f14.html) (forum branch - with background information included)

by god you've said somthing usful, the devs should implement a krakiri a half-kran half-kikiri
-
Lady P also has no hubby, or chicks :'( poor thing, she belongs in the wild, let her go free.
@Sarva, your story is a Mary Sue.
-

It's not like she's chained to a wall, or that the Stonehead has any front door.

She is stuck to the ground. Have you ever seen her walk? Maybe she's the tavern left over bin :P
-
Give Lady Peckerly a movement path and she will be able to move as much as Harnquist or Bevon.
But I am afraid that she will fall from the draw bridge, or through one of so many gaps in the Gugrontid mesh...
Then it might really be better for her to stay on her egg. -- If that egg would stay below her, at least!
-
Well she could just move about the tavern. But only once a day for food, as most 'chickens' do at the hottest hour of the day, which is most likely around 12noon.

Someone usually feeds her biscuit or bread crumbs. ( Ardoin tried to see if she would drink beer before. )
-
I think 'we' should teach her to beg at tables, as soon as anyone sits down
:woot:

Actually, that does sound rather cute.
-
@Roled she's a chicken (Kikiri) not some dog :P
@Nightspark9 lol such a thing Ardoin would do.
-
Oh, I can imagine ... e.g. pecking other people's knees 2-3 times, then tilting her head. Birds are able to beg, I've seen that often. Even had sparrows and tits on my hand looking for seed.
-
Well true LigH. But then the Stonehead will go out of business, whenever someone comes to get food a Kikiri starts pecking at their leg 2-3 times.
-
Maybe he meant "pecking people's knees 2-3 times lightly, then tilting her head." Then it woudn't scare people off too much.
-
P>e<cking - indeed. Sorry, I am not a native english speaker...
And maybe not everyone who enters. Just when someone takes a seat long enough... - Implementing that would not be easy anyway.
-
I meant to emphasize the lightly in my quoting you, because I thought that was what you mean by "she pecks people". If she pecked hard, then yeah, people would begin to shun her, but if she pecked lightly I suppose that it would be cute and whatnot. I wonder if other institutions will adopt creatures as pets since there are many implemented and not implemented that seem to be intelligent enough to be trained.
-
Well, I hope Lady Peckerly will peck lightly enough not to be annoying.
But birds can be a bit reckless sometimes...
-
Camazotz was beaten by a kikiri once.
-
Well, it might be hard to implement, but perhaps for now a GM could play it once in a while? I'm not aware of how many GMs there are or how often they roleplay the NPCs these days, but it would be adorable to have Peckerly beg at the tables.
-
Some GMs do. When they have time and fun.
-
Well what you could do, is make Lady P, come up to you and saying in the Communications Window, Lady Peckerly lightly pecks at your knee. Animation of the Kikiri tilting her head, then say it again till you trade or she does it 3 times.
But would be a kool thing to have :)
