Title: Problem with Character Creation

I'm having issues with Character Creation. In an undefined amount of time, mostly at random, I'll be trying to make my character and the server will crash. If it doesn't crash, I'll get as far as the "Life Events" page, but there will be no events to choose from, and I cannot advance unless I choose an event. I'll be on that screen, and then the server will crash again. Basically, I cannot get past Character Creation. Help?

According to the statistic pages, both servers did not crash today.
Is your internet connection maybe a little shaky?

Not at all. I've been on the internet since, and haven't disconnected once. I'm running it on a Mac. Hopefully that narrows the problem down?

This is what it says: Server is not responding. Try again in 5 minutes. Check http://laanx.fragnetics.com/ for status.

This message also appears when you loose connection.
BTW, it is outdated, the servers are now zeroping (http://62.173.168.9/) and http://planeshift.ezpcusa.com/ .
As you can see, both servers are online and have been all day.

check your isp and router aren't dropping udp packets. wifi connection can be dangerous too switch to cable in case you've an high packet drop
