Title: help- me plz!!

i\'m new to the game, and i\'ve only just managed 2 get a working installer, when i try and create a char, the upload button doesn\'t seem 2 do anything. can any1 help me or tell me what the the problem is??

Does it give an error message? Are you behinf a firewall/router ?

there isn\'t any error message it just doesn\'t do anythink, i have\'t set up a firewall or anything

Did you run the \'updater\' tool before starting Planeshift? PS should be version 0.2.010.

it\'s not updating, it say that a required .dll file,  mscvp70.ddl was not found. any ideas?

Yes, the updater needs it. Do a google search on it, it is up somewhere. Download it, then copy it into the PS dir.

well i got it running, but now it just says that the server is not running or is unreachable when i try and upload my character...is the server down or is it just me???
for a game that i\'ve been trying 2 work 4 a week this is starting 2 get stupid. has any1 got any ideas?? thanx guys 4 the help so far
