Title: Torrent Help: Mac OSX 10.4

So far I have followed the directions as the "Top 5 Frequently Asked Questions" Topic and downloaded all of the necessary software, but I am still facing issues getting the torrent to work. Let me explain:

The latest version of uTorrent requires Mac OSX 10.5 or later, so I searched the web for an earlier version that worked for 10.4 and downloaded it, installed it in the proper folder, etc. I also downloaded the proper file that the torrent was used for off of the internet. After clicking on the .dmg.torrent file provided from the website, however, nothing happens. I can see that there is some program opening up on my computer to install it, but that program instantly crashes. I have also tried opening this file with Installer set as the default application to see the message 'Couldn't open "PlaneShift-v0.5.5.dmg.torrent".' Is there any way to fix this issue?

Personally I think Transmission is a better choice for the mac and you can get an older version of transmission that will work on 10.4 here http://mac.oldapps.com/transmission.php (http://mac.oldapps.com/transmission.php)
