hello everybody... due to peer pressure, i gave in, and changed my nickname from IHS to Nu Sham.
i hope this is *role-playative enough*.
i got it from one of the sites you posted here, so thanx guys =/
btw do you like my new signature ? :)

It sux changing ure name, I mean Spunky Monky was 1 kool name - the only reason i changed was cus the actual game was gunna have a name filter and i didnt really have too much peer pressure only kada-el :P

naaaaahh, jsut doenst do it for the games setting see... like takeing a cold shower when you want to get in teh mood.
Nu sham still is kinda obviouse...
Any of you guys every played anything outside of RS?... ie other MMORPGS before?... or at least a real pen and paper RPG?...

Nu Sham is a better name than IHS. The sig looks pretty fine, too :D .

well i dont know what obvioublsen means, bigfoot ;) but.. i did used to play those old telnet RPGs, you know?
and the name i got from one of those sites u wrote that give u fantasy nicknames, so i guess its rpg enough..
and lucipher, i think lucipher is a cooler name than spunky monkey, and i can also imagine it a part of an RPG experience.. dont you ?
spunky monkey is just w00tish ;)

See thats what i mean, u all got rpg names and no offense but i think yo\'ll take it a bit serious seens as its only a game, i mean i played rs for like over 6 months and would be upset if sumthing happened to my char for example getting hacked. And my name well... i used that name in at least 7 different online games, lets see rune and diablo2 to name a few but.. i got reputations on both for example on diablo2 i got a lvl 94 char and im pretty sure ppl remember me when i log out of games. And on rune well I aint the best of players, but I hacked of sum of the best ppl and been involved in the major clan wars.. its not the name although Spunky monky IS a kool name jus the rep that comes with it

The names i believe are suppose to make it easier to interact with each other and to play a more enjoyable time you mention rs and diablo ive got them both and they are ok games but in my thoughts neither one of them is really a roleplaying game .
I also play Helbreath and a few others that seem to lack in the roleplaying aspects while still being good games.
I believe it comes from people knowing each others lvls and such along with having nice enough names that have no bearing in any sort of fantasy realm or game unless it is for comedy....
Now i could see certain names still that are kinda dumb and should be nick names instead of names used but thats up to the designers.
I for 1 will be happy to not see dumb names though it would bring alot of rp to the game and reputation to yourself if perhaps you and some others took names a bit more normal sounding .....and then in game people called you by your nick names
example
a name such as :Yurig
people talking :did you know :did you here
Others :Yurig is the spunky monkey.....
Other than something like that and i truly dont mean to be mean but Spunky monky or any names like that just dont fit ...um id say your new name as well I dont know what your going for and dont feel bad i mean this to anyone that uses names like this because um arent you kinda blowing your own horn just a teeny bit ?
