Title: Suggest a game for when PS is down

The subject says it all: let's find a good game to play while PlaneShift is down. Minecraft got too boring, I was always doing the same: dig holes ;D

PS: No WoW allowed.

The Battle for Wesnoth (http://www.wesnoth.org/). Only problem is that players might not make it back.  ;)

( Edit - Multi-player option has addiction factor of 10/10. Also has single player option if more than PS is down for you.)

That's a really cool little game indeed, and also a good option when internet is down :)
Surprisingly immersing, perhaps because of its LotR-like universe... wouldn't suggest another

Minecraft getting boring? YOu aint playing it right! Ill be adding an aquarium around my castle for the new squids! Just because my castle happens to be floating wont stop me from dragging those tentacled buggers up there with me!

But lets see...

Current favorite has to be League of Legends (www.leagueoflegends.com), quick download and fun as hell. Good if uve got 45 minutes to kill because thats the average  game time.

If you've got a good 5 hours to spend on a download, Vindictus is very cool. (http://vindictus.nexon.net/)

Frogot to say I've got Windows XP and Ubuntu on a virtual machine ;D That way I can play whatever I want. Also…

Have you tried the browser version (http://www.freeciv.net/) which uses HTML5 and Javascript technologies? If not, it may be worth a try.

I have Civ IV for mac. I also play Spore. i also have spent a considerable amount of time playing tetris online.

Yall should play everybody edits, found taht game a good half a year ago, its in beta or whatever, so there is new things added every couple of days, but its just entertaining for random entertainment.

Technically it's not WoW but Conquest of the Horde, I played a bit of that while banned. You level up 8x faster than a normal WoW server, and they have good RP on their server.
