Ping-Statistik f?r 203.81.47.27:
Pakete: Gesendet = 4, Empfangen = 4, Verloren = 0 (0% Verlust),
Ca. Zeitangaben in Millisek.:
Minimum = 411ms, Maximum = 415ms, Mittelwert = 414ms
look at the value after \"Mittelwert\" or \"Mean\"?
in my case it\'s \"414ms\" as you can see ...
5.) please post this value into this thread ... and tell us how slow the games runs for you (estimated fps)
6.) let\'s compare ;-)

I run at about 30 - 60 FPS outside, and 150 - 200 FPS in the caves or buildings (Geforce4 128Mo, RAM : 512 Mo, Athlon 1800+ @ 2200+)
So the game runs pretty well but IT IS laggy -> the other characters sometimes move strangely, it takes me about 1/2 sec to pick up items on the floor etc.
edit : ignore the 1114, I sent 20 packets and it didn\'t happen, I\'m around 450.

hmmm ... is there an internal fps counter ?
is your movement limited by the lag ? (looking around, ...)
-
add the line
System.PlugIns.iBugPlug = crystalspace.utilities.bugplug
to your psclient.cfg to get the FPS counter.
There is no lag in my movement, nor in the look. The only pb I have is with mouselook : the higher the framerate is, the slower my mouse moves... weird... o_O

ok ... thx for the fps hint ...
i\'ve tested the client both in software and opengl mode at 640x480, 16 bit
result:
OpenGL ==> between 0.2 and 7 fps
Software Renderer ==> about 5 fps
this is weird ...
the OpenGL rendering should be much faster ...
there seems to be some problem between client and display drivers ...
trying further ...
