Do you know of any vegetables in yliakum? Because all I know of are carrots. Are there any vegetables only found in-game also? I'd like to know, thanks.
-
There are only few fruits and vegetables with own models and specific icons, yet.
You can probably count "Pungent Tuber" to the vegetables, but like all herbs, they still have generic appearance (a sack).
I wish anyone had ever commented on my "cumbana"...
-
kartoffle is a fruit...i think..and applez
-
"Kartoffel" is german for "potato". So ... probably in the area of vegetables too. But who knows the difference to fruits for sure?
-
Are there tomatoes? thats my favorite fruit

Do you honestly eat tomatos as a you would a fruit...? :o
There's a fruit I have long forgotten... but it is found near Ojaveda. And of course can't remember the name. It is a 'sack' though.
Also something about this topic, what about making jams? using the fruit you harvest to make the jam would be a nice thing to learn!
-
Yes vakachek, i eat tomatoes, like anyone else would eat an apple.
But back on topic, I would like to see some of the more commonly used vegtables implemented. IE Onions, Squash, Peas, Corn, Lettuce, ect.
-
a big slice of tomato with some fresh mozzarella, olive oil and fresh basil
aren't there jellies and jams in the cookbook? I haven't made them but I think they're in there.
-
It would make sense at least to make models for existing plants, before introducing new ones.

Sure, why not? Tomatoes were feared originally, since they were brought from America and resembled other solanaceae like mandragora, jimson weed (dature), beladonna and henbane (hyoscyamus) which have toxic hallucinogens. But since then, everyone figured out that tomatoes are safe :)
-
I LOVE TOMATOES! :woot:
IMPLEMENT THEM! \\o//

Vegetables are pretty rare in Yliakum. Which is understandable as the government doesn't seem like it'd be against euthanasia.
-
Obviously dwarves need more vegtables, its no wonder why they are short and weakish
-
What about carrots? :-X
-
Why did we stop throwing duppong at Vakachehk?
/me throws duppong at Vakachehk

I'm fairly certain that "vegetarian" means "bad hunter" in German...

At least correct grammar, really. Your german is better than someone else's english. ;)
-
Care for a lil' translation? I'm not even native English speaker lol
-
Google translator could care for that, but Im pretty sure that "lol" its not exactly german... ;)

So, kartoffle is german for potatoe. Germans confuse me greatly. ???

"i speak a little german. i think that i speak german poorly. as you can see, not so beautifully. lol
oh! and earowo... you have lemons in your head"
i was originally going to say something other than lemons, but i'm nice X-/
-
Lemon is the word i use, for bad :P
-
In German, there are no "lemons in heads"; don't translate idioms word-by-word.
Earowo hat Flausen im Kopf. ("Flausen" is hardly translatable, maybe "rubbish".)
-
i was going to say "du hast sch***** im kopf" lol :-X
