Title: Texture problems
Post by: Parallo on February 06, 2011, 08:40:18 pm
I'm having odd texture issues. They distort as the view moves. I've a Intel Graphics Media Accelerator HD (core i5) on Windows 7 if thats relevent. Here is a screenshot. Any help would be much appreciated.

Horrible.

Surely an issue with the graphic drivers. Hardly anything we could solve for intel.

That second screeny looks kinda cool, the colors might be wrong, im not sure if im seeing what everyone else is, due to my graphics card issue, but it looks good for a mountain side

Ah well, I'll try it on the desktop then. It's fine for inching around Hydlaa but everywhere else is so messed up I run into ulbers constantly and the DR is even worse.

I am experiencing the same problem (also with an Intel onboard chipset), and I also have reasons to assume that it's, like LigH said, a driver related problem. While Intel has a updated driver for the chipset, most laptop distributers haven't - and don't accept not verified Intel drivers under Windows. I'm not sure how the situation under Linux is.
