Title: Can't even download, lmao

Mac client doesnt work; it saves as a text-edit like file.
Mirror is 404 error. Help?

Which one out of the four HTTP mirrors did you try to download? — Obviously only the US American mirror fails.

Why did you not try the other (German) mirrors? They have exactly the same file, the one and only public release installer.
