So, my ati is fixed, and im ingame again, i updated my client fully, got in game, and realized...the loading screens are all screwwd up. anytime you go through any kind of door, or move to a different sector, or teleport, or even /unstick, a loading screen happens....i for one hate it, i do not know why the developers made it this way, nor do i think it matters, because in all honesty (and no offense) but its the most retarted change yet! i cannot walk 5 steps in the arena without a loading screen happening, and with my old computer, the loading screens are just a hassle and waste of times...i think it needs to be returned to the way it was.

it's to avoid ending falling in the void when there are still things needing loading (mostly items)

You probably got the Background loader set to "World". In this case, a loading screen appears "on demand" where loading parts of the world takes too much time.
When you set it to "Models", they only appear at map loading portals, where a map is loaded completely. That takes a bit longer, but happens only at specific locations.

No LigH, I have background loading off, I've had it off since day one, I tested world loading once, becuase i thought it would make it to where there were no loading screens, and everything loads through time, but that was false, so i didnt go back.

disabled background loading completely. if background loading is enabled (even if it's models), the client will check whether you managed to load everything as you cross a sector boundary (again: a sector, not a zone) and if you don't have everything loaded, it'll make the load blocking (aka you get a load screen).
why it was put there? to make sure you don't get invisible NPCs, partially loaded maps, etc. all the time.
why do you get loading screens all the time? the load is slow for you... could be too few ram, slow hard disk, slow cpu, single-core cpu, ...
but to sum it up: if your box can't handle it, don't use background loading at all, it won't benefit you for sure ;)

Well i've said a few times now, i have background loadin% off all the time, since it does not benifit me. Yeah, i have a slow comptuer, but i think we should have the choice if we want those loading screens popping up, i get them when i unstick even, there has to be something wrong with that.
