Title: "Not Responding"

When I try to startup the game in opengl mode, it takes like 30 minutes to initialize the world, and when it does, it\'s like frozen, except for the cursor, and i open task manager and it says that the program is not responding.
Here\'s my system specs...
Pentium III 797, 319MB SDRAM, NVidia GeForce 4 MX 440, and I am running windows XP Pro
