Title: How do I obtain the permissions to send personal messages?

When I go to the messages area and attempt to create a new personal message, it says this:

You are not allowed to send personal messages.

I have searched the forum, but I have not found a reason why this is.

Any help is appreciated.

You need ten posts to send PMs. This is to prevent spam bots to send PMs with porn pictures. (Yes, that actually happened and can never be unseen.  ::| )
