So recently my computer's hard drive broke and I had to get it replaced. The computer guy offered to move it down to XP from Vista since it's faster, and I said sure, why not. Then recently I thought, hey, the reason PS wouldn't work on my computer before was that the drivers didn't go forward enough and there weren't any Vista Omega Drivers. So I wondered if there were some for XP. And there were. So now PS is working on my computer and I can play again.
Awesome.
Now I need to work out what's changed since I was here last...

Welcome back :) Always good to see an old face returned.

Thanks. Still having some crashes but I can at least play.
-
What OS are you on? Maybe we can help you out ;)

It might help a bit to delete the "shadercache" once.
It might help a bit to set the Background Shader to "Models", if you have a multi-core processor.
But still, there are bugs which make you crash and we can't help about it. Especially in map loading areas.

I'm on XP now- the computer place that replaced my hard drive downgraded me from Vista since XP is faster.
-
This further proves my theory, windows XP is better then vista, in everyway imaginable.
-
Let's not discuss religions here.
