It would be great if guilds had the ability to create their own tokens from various metals. Why implenting this:In real life private tokens circulated succesfully as a way to pay services and goods. It will make the economy real as in no other game.As there will not be a way to sell them to NPCs,Guilds won't have the opportunity to sell rubish for tons of money. It will make it posible to roleplay someone who collects coins e.t.c.

It'd be fun to have this once the guilds have some more size to the, and once expanded crafting makes them more autonomous.

Interesting idea! Sounds pretty good, and I agree with Sangwa.

Nice idea.,. and they would be collectable too

What types of crafters could produce them, and what materials would be required? I could see proprietary metal dies to stamp tokens, but it would require a skilled metalworker to strike them. Making the die might require skills in both metalwork and sculpting.
On a related note, what skills and materials should be required to make guild badges. An engraved or cast item would require less than a bejeweled or enameled one for instance.
Yes, I know this will require implementing additional skills. Just throwing it out there.

Like always my advise is: keep it simple. Tokens should be made with some types of metal and alloys, but the die and mark part we should imagine for ourselves. It should use Blacksmith Skill and I'd include it in the Tool Making skill.
