I just registered to play and downloaded the 32 bit. I lopened the pslaunch and i got this black screen with nothing that says play game or anything but the game title in the top right hand corner and on the left side of the screen is a scroll that says new version out, and remember to update your drivers, ect. Well I updated my drivers and still nothing. So i closed the program and reopened it. Gave it a minute to load up and it stoped working.......any ideas? im running windows 7 starter, intel atom with current driver installed, 1gb ram....dont know what else ud need but i would like to start playing

This is how the pslauch.exe is supposed to look. Are you sure the buttons at the bottom are not there? Or is maybe just the window too big for your screen? (intel atom is often used in those tiny netbooks, that's why I ask)

Need more memory planshift uses about 700MB so not much left for windows 7
better graphics card/chip at leats 128MB memory
..
and probably 64bit version off the planeshift client most new windows systems with windows 7 are 64bit
32bit will work on a 64bit of course

windows 7 starter is indeed used mainly in netbooks, so probably you have a, let's say 10"screen 1024x600 resolution? then the "play" button is168 pixels off your screen...

Ok, i completely didnt think of the screen resolution, im gonna change it and see what happens.
Lusserall:
I figured the 32 bit would be less of a hassel on this comp.. i did upgrade from the 128MB to 256MB which hasnt given me problems running other games *knock on wood* I do constantly delete stuff i dont need and keep up on making sure i have the most free space, i also made a mistake....my RAM is not 1GB, its 2GB which is a little better but your right i still need more memory
Minks:
Thanks for the screen shot...i think the window was just too big
.....
I'll let you know my progress thanks everyone!
