You know... I kinda like the "guess my computer specification" game often forcefully played in "problems before entering the game" board... ;) but...
There's a way to leave a sticky post in big flashing yellow fonts that sounds like "before posting anything read this", explaining the need for computer specifications to isolate the problem?
A fair amount of people ask for help without even mentioning operating system or graphic card, leading to neverending threads, with the same answers again and again. After all a big part of problems seems to me are always the same.

Flashing red would be neat. 'cause nobody ever reads the normal stickies :(

Yeah, that topic for example is really clear, a bit dated, perhaps, but I'm afraid the name "PS tech help guide" doesn't reach the point. I'd suggest to change the title in "BEFORE POSTING ANYTHING READ THIS (PS tech help guide)". A link on that topic could be added also in the PS client download page, to ease the poor newcomers.
Can I add your sentence in my sig, Weltall? ::) pleeease...

it didnt work for the mac section.

An option would be, a specific support section on the forum, that would ask during posting if one wants to submit hardware specs. Then some JavaScript would get those, and insert it into the post.

Boeven stops for a moment, realizing what he said. Then raises the rock pick and starts digging his own grave. ;D
