I suppose I'll start with a quick introduction. Hi! Just started playing PlaneShift yesterday, and I have to say I love the concept and I want to see this project succeed. Unfortunately, my complete lack of programming knowledge and utter lack of money leaves me with almost no way to contribute.
It also leaves me without an internet connection for the next two or three weeks starting today. >_>
So I've decided that in the meantime, I can use one of the skills I DO have to make at least a small contribution to the community. At least, to two people in particular who have recently requested some artwork of their characters in the fan art project. In the next few weeks, I'll be working on Sangwa's request for the Morwen Greenmoon character and Caraick's request for the Marsuveus Dastro character, as well as a drawing of my own character, Qile Yszir. I plan on finishing them as full-color and fully digital illustrations. Without the distractions of the internet, and only working as a bartender on weekends, I hope to have plenty of time to complete these drawings by the time I return to playing PlaneShift.
Also, I apologize if this post is misplaced...it seemed that there was no other logical place to put it. >_>

Heh, that's the spirit! You don't moan about areas where you cannot contribute, instead you pick the one where you can. :thumbup:

Great ether! Good to see you found the fan art project thread after our discussion. Had fun RP'ing last night and look forward to seeing you back and seeing your pictures when you have internet again.
And btw, I had to ask to find my way out of the dungeon the first time too! :P

And I would like to see some Lemurs. Nobody likes Lemurs for some reason, they're too busy drawing Enkis. I really don't get why PS loves Enkis so much. Enkis and Klyros are too popular imo. There's like 4 Enki or Klyros-only guilds -_- why, I have no idea.
That's my own personal request: make Lemurs!

He doesn't 'have' to do anything. So appreciate it. We are all very fortunate as a community that he is doing this for us.

Well, I am not even certain if there are public known concept drawings of the Lemur race. Not to mention how successful modellers are already. So indeed, a detailed draft might support their development, no matter how accurate it is.

And I don't think I can force anyone to do anything over the internet, without the use of blackmail. And yes, I am aware that we are very fortunate. @Catlemur. The Enki are kind of like the Gnomes of PS. In WoW, the Gnomes are very annoying to see in public, and it's embarrassing to be killed by one in PvP. In PS, Enkis are overused and I'm getting sick of a lot of the population being Enkis. Plus, from what I've observed, they seem to have some weird "Enki team spirit" thing going on, as clearly demonstrated by your other post:

It's not that I have a problem with enkis... It's just... There's to many of them! I could practically swim in enkis there are so many...
