I apologize in advance if this is posted in the wrong place or if this is a bug that's already been made note of - or if it's not a bug and I'm just an idiot.
Something just doesn't seem right about this series of quest dialogues (http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z124/CATS1212/QuestBug_PS.jpg).

Looking at my logs, this seems like dialog from two different quests. The dialog starting from "tournament odds" should be from "An Opening Move". Are you sure you didn't have that one open at the same time and selected the dialog from that one? If that line from you came from the "helping hand" quest, then it's a crossed dialog issue.
Either way, best to use the bug tracker.

The dialogue in question is actually from "A Helping Hand for Kisatol", and is in the two red boxes in the image. The tournament odds dialogue is actually between those two, by chance I happened to finish it between giving the crystals and giving the repair kits. =P
-
:-[ Ah, the red boxes...sorry.
Yep, looks like a bug then. The only difference from my experience is my dialog when giving the kits was "These are for you."
Then again, that was in April 2010 so who knows how it's been altered since then.

Aha! That was an option when I turned the quest in. I had two choices: "Here you go." and "These are for you." Being as they're literally the same thing, I didn't assume the result of turning in the quest would be different based on my choice, but I guess it was.
It's not a bug so much as an error in that choice A represented an erroneous outcome versus choice B representing the proper outcome but without discrimination as to which option was which...

I'd call it a bug, too, non-relevant options should disappear when their conditions have been altered. In other words, you having given the gems to Kisatol ought to remove the 'not given' quest option when talking to Ukabnu. A similar situation occurs when you get options prematurely so that you can bypass necessary steps.
-
If both options are there, that's pretty ambiguous. From the players POV, they can make a choice which looks acceptable but results in an undesired outcome. :(
Put it on the bug tracker. And be specific as to what dialog options are there and which shouldn't be.
